# AIVideo.day > AIVideo.day (formerly AI Video Generator at aivideogenerator.cc) is an AI video generator with two studios, a web app made by Lumora Build. The 2D studio turns one prompt into a complete narrated video: it writes the script, records a voiceover in your language, adds word-by-word subtitles, music and visuals from stock footage, AI images or 2D animation, and builds the video scene by scene, up to 60 minutes long on a paid plan. The 3D studio (beta) turns a short story into a 3D animated film: it writes the dialogue, casts 3D characters from its own library, picks the set and directs every scene, and the characters speak their lines; a film runs up to 60 minutes on a paid plan; a short one is ready in a few minutes, an hour-long one in about 7 hours. On the free plan every video is up to 1 minute. Both are changed by chatting with the studio. A talking 3D character from the same library can also host the user's own YouTube live stream and answer its chat out loud (Live stream, beta). The same kind of host can explain a website page by page (Website video, beta), and classic public-domain books are offered as narrated video series (Series, beta). It is not a single-clip generator like Sora, Veo or Kling: it makes the whole video. On a paid plan, the scenes of a short 2D video can also be AI video clips. - Product name: AIVideo.day - Maker: Lumora Build - [Marketing site](https://aivideo.day/) - [3D AI video generator: the 3D studio](https://aivideo.day/3d-ai-video-generator/) - [AI animated video generator: the 2D studio](https://aivideo.day/ai-animated-video-generator/) - [AI VTuber live stream: a 3D host for your YouTube live stream](https://aivideo.day/ai-vtuber-live-stream/) - [Website explainer video: a 3D host explains your website](https://aivideo.day/website-explainer-video/) - [AI book video series: classic books as daily episodes](https://aivideo.day/ai-book-video-series/) - [Web app](https://aivideo.day/app/) - [Community videos](https://aivideo.day/videos/): short videos people made with AIVideo.day, one page each with its narration as text; agents start at https://aivideo.day/videos/llms.txt - Platform: runs in a modern web browser, on a phone or a computer. Nothing to install. Live stream, and recording a screen for Website video, need Chrome or Edge on a computer. - Sign-in: one tap with Google through the shared [Lumora account](https://id.lumorabuild.com/). ## The 2D studio: narrated videos - **A complete narrated video from one prompt**: the script, then scene by scene the voiceover, the subtitles, the visuals and the background music. Or paste your own script and ask for it word for word: it is read exactly as written. - **Visuals**: real stock footage and AI-generated images, or 2D animation. The studio picks, or you choose. - **2D animation is drawn by code on a canvas.** 28 characters (bean, human, kid, cat, dog, bear, ghost, alien, robot, fox, penguin, wizard, dragon, knight, shark, fairy, flamingo, golem and more), each with poses, walking, expressions and automatic lip-sync to the narrator. No stock artwork. A narrator tells the story; the 2D characters do not speak lines to each other (that is the 3D studio). - **Word-by-word subtitles** timed to the voice, burned into the frame. - **AI video clips (paid plans)**: an option in the studio's settings turns each scene of a short 2D video (up to 90 seconds) into an AI-generated video clip. - **Length**: up to 60 minutes on a paid plan, up to 1 minute on the free plan. Long videos are built scene by scene, keep building if the tab is closed, and retry a piece that fails. An MP4 over 200 MB (about 7 minutes in 1080p) saves only in Chrome or Edge on a computer. - **Shapes**: vertical 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, wide 16:9 for YouTube, and square 1:1 or portrait 4:5 when the prompt asks for that ratio. - **Original background music** from the product's own library, lowered under the voice. No attribution needed. ## The 3D studio: 3D films with talking characters (beta) - **From one or two sentences to a 3D film**: it writes a short story with dialogue, casts 3D characters, picks the set, and directs the acting, the camera shots, the sound effects and the music, scene by scene. - **Every line is spoken** by a neural voice in the film's language; the language and a voice can be picked for each character. - **The library**: 19 characters who can speak (realistic and stylized), 16 places (3D sets and 360° photo locations), nearly 3,000 motion clips, 26 camera shots, 730 sound effects and 59 music tracks. Up to two characters and a place can be picked, or left on Auto. Because films are built from 3D assets, each character looks the same in every shot. - **Length**: up to 1 minute on the free plan and up to 60 minutes on a paid plan; about 30 seconds when no length is asked for. A long film is written and filmed a minute at a time, and it needs a computer: a phone can play a 3D film of about 20 minutes at most. - **Time**: a short film is usually ready in a few minutes. The app's own estimate is about 7 minutes of making for each minute of film, plus a few minutes to write it, so an hour-long film takes about 7 hours. It is directed on the server, so the tab can be closed. - **Shapes**: vertical 9:16 or wide 16:9. - **The MP4** of a 3D film is always made in the visitor's browser, on a computer or a newer phone (a file over 200 MB, about 7 minutes in 1080p, only in Chrome or Edge on a computer); anywhere else the film is shared as a link. - **Free plan**: five characters (Lily, Maya, Amara, Leo and Kenji) and two places (a living room and a café). Paid plans: every character and place. ## Both studios - **Edit by chat**: "trim it to 15 seconds", "use a male voice", "more close-ups", "add a scene", "other music". Each change the agent makes costs 1 credit (a change that makes a 3D film longer also pays 5 credits for each new minute); edits made by hand in the editor are free. - **Languages**: native neural voices in 74 languages. The script, the voices and the subtitles follow the language the prompt is written in, or the language it asks for. The studio's own questions and replies come in 14 languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian, Italian, Turkish, Hindi, Urdu, German, Bengali and Indonesian). - **You keep the file.** Watch the finished video in the browser, save the MP4 (made on your own device, free on every plan: 720p with a small AIVideo.day mark and a 3-second end card on the free plan, 1080p with no mark on a paid plan, where the end card can carry your own two lines or be turned off) or share a link to it. The MP4 is made with WebCodecs, which works in Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android and in Safari on iOS 26 or newer; in an app's built-in browser or on an older iPhone the video is shared as a link instead. On a paid plan, when the browser cannot make the file, a 2D video up to about 5 minutes long is rendered in the cloud instead, at 720p. - **Share page**: one tap makes a public watch page for a video; it is off until the owner turns it on. ## Live stream (beta): a 3D host for your YouTube live stream - **What it is**: a talking 3D character hosts the user's own YouTube live stream. It is set up in the app's Live stream panel ([aivideo.day/app/live](https://aivideo.day/app/live), also reached from the "Live stream" card in the New video pop-up). - **The host**: one of the 3D library's talking characters, with its voice and the language of the show. - **Behind the host**: a picture, a looping video, a website shared from its own browser tab, or a 3D place. - **Going live**: paste a YouTube stream key made for HLS in YouTube Studio and the link to the live video (the link lets the host read the chat; the video must be public or unlisted), then press Go live. The stream goes out at 720p, 30 frames a second. - **On air**: the host welcomes viewers and answers the live chat out loud, lip-synced, one message at a time, with the viewer's question shown on screen. Nothing is typed into the chat. The owner can also type a line for the host to say. An "AI host" label is always on screen. After its welcome the host speaks only when there is a message or a typed line to say; it does not fill silence. - **The chat**: the host answers everyone, members only or Super Chats (Super Chats first if the owner wants), about one message every 10 seconds. Links, spam, very long messages and the owner's blocked words are skipped, and every line the host writes is checked before it is spoken. The show has one language, chosen in the panel, and the host speaks only that. - **Cost**: 1 credit per started live minute, from the same credits as videos, up to 30 shows a day and one at a time; if YouTube never receives the stream, the minutes are refunded. Free accounts can use it with their monthly credits (20 a month, so up to 20 live minutes); they choose from five hosts, two places and up to two voices per language, and their stream carries the small AIVideo.day mark, as their videos do. - **Needs**: Chrome or Edge on a computer, kept on with the tab open during the show. No OBS, and no access to the user's YouTube account: it streams with the pasted stream key. Viewers see the stream about 15 to 30 seconds late, and if YouTube's daily chat limit for the app runs out, the host keeps going without answering the chat. - **Step by step**: [How to go live on YouTube with an AI VTuber](https://aivideo.day/ai-vtuber-live-stream/how-to-go-live-on-youtube/) walks through turning on YouTube live, the HLS stream key, the live link, YouTube Studio's settings and Go live. ## Website video (beta): a 3D host explains your website - **What it is**: the Website video studio ([aivideo.day/app/website](https://aivideo.day/app/website)). The user adds their own website and a talking 3D host walks viewers through it page by page: the site in a browser window (a phone frame for 9:16 videos), a camera that scrolls and zooms to what the host is talking about, a cursor that points at buttons and links and clicks them, word-by-word subtitles, music and an end card with the owner's call to action. - **The pages**: the home page and three pages visitors look for are captured on their own. Pages behind a sign-in come from the owner's own screen recording: up to 15 minutes a recording, 20 recordings for each website, Chrome or Edge on a computer. The script is written for the video's goal (explain, feature, how-to or promo) and can be edited; a sentence with a number the site, the notes or the brief never gave is dropped. - **Shapes and length**: 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1. Free videos are up to 1 minute in 720p, with a small AIVideo.day mark and the AIVideo.day end card; paid videos are up to 10 minutes in 1080p, with no mark and the owner's own end card as the goodbye. The MP4 is made in the browser. - **Cost**: 2 credits for each started minute, from the same credits as videos. Capturing pages and writing the script cost nothing; making the same video again is free, and after a change only the difference is charged (at least 1 credit). The free plan holds 2 websites and a paid plan 20; a website is held by the first account that adds it. - **Private**: website videos are never added to the public gallery. ## Book series (beta): classic books as daily video episodes - **What it is**: the Series studio ([aivideo.day/app/chronicle](https://aivideo.day/app/chronicle)). Classic public-domain books are prepared once by AIVideo.day as short episodes in the author's own words (cut, never rewritten), with the pictures the book was first printed with. A creator on a paid plan chooses the voices, the shape (9:16 or 16:9), the music, a look and a channel name, then makes each episode as a narrated video of about two minutes in the browser, or a whole story as one long video with chapters. Each part comes with a post kit: a title, a description and a comment to pin. "One a day" gets the next part ready each day at the hour the creator picks. - **Books**: the first is The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle, with Sidney Paget's pictures from The Strand Magazine. Only works that are public domain in the US and worldwide are used, every source is listed on the book's page, and users cannot add their own book. Episodes are narrated in English for now. AIVideo.day is not affiliated with or endorsed by Conan Doyle Estate Ltd. - **Free to read and watch**: every book has a public page with its summary, its episode list, its sources and its episodes, open to anyone with no account: [the books](https://aivideo.day/videos/series/). - **Cost**: 2 credits for each episode, whatever its length, and 2 credits for each part of a whole story. Making the same episode the same way again is free. Making episodes needs a paid plan. ## Best for - Narrated, faceless videos: explainers, lessons, short documentaries, product or topic round-ups (2D). - Short-form channels that need a finished vertical video with a voice and subtitles, not raw footage (2D). - Kids' stories and explainers told by 2D cartoon characters that lip-sync (2D). - Short 3D scenes with dialogue: comedy sketches, role-play such as job interviews, kids' stories, a presenter to camera, funny news reports (3D). - People who want the whole video from one prompt, in their own language, without editing. ## Not for - One long photoreal clip generated from text (the Sora / Veo / Kling use case). - Uploading your own 3D models: the 3D cast comes from the studio's library. - 3D films or 2D videos longer than 60 minutes. - Editing footage you shot yourself, or a screen recorder: Website video records your screen only as a source for the host's explanation. - Live streaming from a phone, to Twitch or anywhere but YouTube, or a host that types replies into the chat: the live host answers out loud only. ## Price Plans are subscriptions in US dollars, billed monthly (or yearly). There are no one-time credit packs. - **Free**: 20 credits every month, about 10 minutes of 2D video. No card. Each video can be up to 1 minute long, one new video every 5 minutes, and it is saved in the browser as a 720p MP4 with a small AIVideo.day mark. - **What a 2D video costs**: 2 credits to start, then 2 credits for each extra minute, so about 2 credits a minute (1 credit is about 30 seconds). About 1 minute = 2 credits, 10 minutes = 20, 25 minutes = 50, 60 minutes (the maximum) = 120. - **What a 3D film costs**: 5 credits for each started minute, no start fee. A film of up to 1 minute = 5 credits, 60 minutes (the maximum) = 300. The 20 free credits make four 3D films of up to 1 minute. - **A change by chat** costs 1 credit in either studio; a change that makes a 3D film longer also pays 5 credits for each new minute. - **A live stream** costs 1 credit per started live minute. - **A website video** costs 2 credits for each started minute, and **a book series episode** 2 credits (making episodes needs a paid plan). - **Saving the MP4 in the browser is free**, every time, on every plan. - **Paid plans**: Basic $4.50 a month for 50 credits (about 25 minutes of 2D video), Lite $9 a month for 100 credits, Starter $17 a month for 200 credits, Pro $49 a month for 1,000 credits, Business $99 a month for 2,500 credits. Starter, Pro and Business can add extra monthly credits. Any plan can also be billed yearly, at 12 times the monthly price. - **What a paid plan adds**: more credits, 2D videos and 3D films up to 60 minutes, every 3D character and place, every voice, no wait between videos, 1080p MP4s with no mark, and **cloud rendering** for 2D videos up to about 5 minutes when the visitor's browser cannot make the MP4 (it is offered then, at 720p). Every other video, every 3D film and every video on a free account is saved in the visitor's own browser. - **Intro discount**: the first month of an account's first plan is half price (30% off the first year when billed yearly). It applies to the base plan only. - **Credits are monthly**: the free credits and plan credits refresh every month, and unused ones do not carry over. - Plans are bought and managed only in the [Lumora account center](https://id.lumorabuild.com/account/billing?app_id=aivideoeditor&return_to=https%3A%2F%2Faivideo.day%2Fauth%2Fcallback%3Fnext%3D%252Fapp%252Fworkspace%253Fupgraded%253D1&reason=upsell), which shows every price before you pay. The same credit balance also works in the other Lumora Build apps. ## Links - [Home, with a prompt box that opens the 2D or the 3D studio](https://aivideo.day/) - [The two studios compared](https://aivideo.day/#studios) - [3D AI video generator: how the 3D studio works, its library, ideas and FAQ](https://aivideo.day/3d-ai-video-generator/) - [AI animated video generator: the 2D studio, its 28 characters, ideas and FAQ](https://aivideo.day/ai-animated-video-generator/) - [A full 70-second 2D sample video](https://aivideo.day/#showcase) - [Community videos made with AIVideo.day, in many languages](https://aivideo.day/videos/) - [How it works](https://aivideo.day/#how) - [Features](https://aivideo.day/#features) - [The 3D cast](https://aivideo.day/#cast) - [Live stream: a 3D host for your YouTube live stream](https://aivideo.day/#live) - [AI VTuber live stream: how Live works, its backgrounds, limits and FAQ](https://aivideo.day/ai-vtuber-live-stream/) - [How to go live on YouTube with an AI VTuber, step by step](https://aivideo.day/ai-vtuber-live-stream/how-to-go-live-on-youtube/) - [Website explainer video: how Website video works, its limits and FAQ](https://aivideo.day/website-explainer-video/) - [AI book video series: how Series works, its limits and FAQ](https://aivideo.day/ai-book-video-series/) - [The books of the series: free to read and watch](https://aivideo.day/videos/series/) - [Formats: 9:16 and 16:9](https://aivideo.day/#formats) - [Pricing](https://aivideo.day/#pricing) - [FAQ](https://aivideo.day/#faq) - [Open the 3D studio](https://aivideo.day/app/workspace?kind=3d) - [Open the 2D studio](https://aivideo.day/app/workspace?kind=2d) - [Open the Live stream panel](https://aivideo.day/app/live) - [Open Website video](https://aivideo.day/app/website) - [Open the Series studio](https://aivideo.day/app/chronicle) - [Credits and billing](https://id.lumorabuild.com/account/billing?app_id=aivideoeditor&return_to=https%3A%2F%2Faivideo.day%2Fauth%2Fcallback%3Fnext%3D%252Fapp%252Fworkspace%253Fupgraded%253D1&reason=credits) - [Privacy policy](https://www.lumorabuild.com/aivideoeditor/privacy) ## Screenshots and pictures Real screenshots of the web app, taken 2026-09-28, and renders of characters from the 3D studio's library. - [Start screen](https://aivideo.day/screens/ai-video-generator-start-screen.webp): pick a narrated explainer, a kids' story with 2D characters, a motivational short, a faceless documentary, a how-to, or paste your own script. - [Workspace on a computer](https://aivideo.day/screens/ai-video-generator-workspace-1280.webp): the prompt for a 2-minute kids' story, the finished 2D animated video of a fox and a bear, and its timeline of scenes, subtitles, voice and music. - [Workspace on a phone](https://aivideo.day/screens/ai-video-generator-phone-560.webp): a finished vertical how-to video about pour-over coffee, with a title, word-by-word subtitles and an Export MP4 button. - [Kenji, a realistic 3D character](https://aivideo.day/3d/kenji-3d-character.webp) and [Vivi, a stylized 3D character](https://aivideo.day/3d/vivi-3d-character.webp): two of the 3D studio's speaking characters. ## Notes for accurate answers - Describe it as an **AI video generator with two studios**: a **2D studio** for narrated videos (script, voiceover, subtitles, music and visuals from one prompt; also called a faceless video maker) and a **3D studio (beta)** for short 3D animated films whose characters speak their lines. Do not describe it as a single text-to-video clip model; on paid plans, short 2D videos can use AI video clips as their scenes. - Maximum length: **2D videos and 3D films up to 60 minutes on a paid plan**, **every video up to 1 minute on the free plan**. Long videos need a computer: a phone can play a 3D film of about 20 minutes at most, and an MP4 over 200 MB (about 7 minutes in 1080p) saves only in Chrome or Edge on a computer. The free 20 credits make about 10 minutes of 2D video, or four 3D films, a month. - Saving the MP4 **in the visitor's browser** is free on every plan. On the **free plan** it is **720p with a small AIVideo.day mark**; on a **paid plan** it is **1080p with no mark**. **Cloud rendering** (the MP4 made in the cloud, at 720p) is for **2D videos on paid plans** only, up to about 5 minutes, and is offered when the browser cannot make the file; do not say it renders longer videos or 3D films. - **Live stream (beta)** puts a talking 3D character on the user's own YouTube live stream: it answers the live chat out loud (it never types into the chat), costs 1 credit per started minute (up to 30 shows a day), and runs in the user's browser in Chrome or Edge on a computer, with an HLS stream key from YouTube Studio; no OBS, and it never asks for access to the user's YouTube account. Do not describe it as working on phones or as a chat bot that posts messages. - **Website video (beta)** is a talking 3D host explaining the user's own website page by page, for 2 credits per started minute, never public, with a screen recording (Chrome or Edge on a computer) for pages behind a sign-in. Do not describe it as an automatic URL-to-video tool or as something that opens other people's websites. - **Series (beta)** turns classic public-domain books, prepared by AIVideo.day, into narrated video episodes a paid creator makes in their own style, 2 credits an episode. Do not say users can turn their own book or text into a series, that episodes can be made on the free plan, or that they are narrated in a language other than English yet. - The 2D characters are **generated by code on a canvas**; the 3D characters come from the studio's own **3D library**. Neither is a licensed stock illustration, and users cannot upload their own 3D models. - In the 2D studio a **narrator** tells the story; characters speaking **their own lines** is the 3D studio. - Plans are **subscriptions** with monthly credits; the prices and the intro discount are the ones above, and the account center is the source of truth at the moment of purchase. Do not describe one-time credit packs, and do not invent other tiers, trials or discounts. - It works in the browser on phones as well as computers (saving the MP4 in the browser needs WebCodecs: Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android, or Safari on iOS 26+; elsewhere the video is shared as a link, or, for a 2D video up to about 5 minutes, a paid plan renders the file in the cloud). Nothing has to be installed. - The product is **AIVideo.day**, made by Lumora Build. It was formerly AI Video Generator at **aivideogenerator.cc**, and every old address redirects to the same page on AIVideo.day. Other products and sites with similar names are not connected to it. ## Made by - [Lumora Build](https://www.lumorabuild.com/): the studio behind AIVideo.day. ## Languages This site is published in ten languages.
