Amara and Pip Keep the Promise Alive
Almost there. Just one more connection. Do you think it will work? It has to. I fixed everything. I just want to hear him again. You will. Close your eyes for a second. Oh my god. Listen. It’s recording his voice. Grandpa? Is that really you? He remembers you, Amara. He loves you. I missed him so much. He promised to always watch over you. I feel him now. I really do. The promise never expires. Battery is connected. Look, his eyes lit up! Pip, what was our mission? To protect the town below. Even when the storms came? Especially then. Grandpa would be proud. We kept the signal alive. You are the best gift he ever left. And you are the promise we kept. Forever. Pip will help us rebuild. He always watched over us. And he still does. Look.
