Don't Say That About Yourself
I am so dumb. I will never get this math right. Words have power, Malcolm. Calling yourself names makes the problem harder. But it feels true! I just can't do it! Try saying you are learning instead of being stuck. It changes your mind. Learning... okay. Maybe I can try that way. I am smart. I can solve this step by step. Got it! It was easy when I stopped doubting myself. See? Positive words unlock your confidence. You did great. Thanks, Mama. I feel much better now.
