Leo's Brave Step Overcoming Fear
It looks so wobbly. I can feel my heart racing just looking at it. I know it feels high, but you have been practicing your balance all week. But what if I slip? What if I fall right here in front of you? You will not slip because I am right here watching every single step you take. I promise with all my heart, Leo. Just put one foot forward slowly now. It is just a little sway, Leo. Do not let your mind trick you now. You are terrible at metaphors, but your advice helps me lift my other leg up. I think I might actually make it across without falling into the carpet below us. I made it! I actually did it! You were so brave, my dear. Truly proud. Bravery isn't not being scared. It is trying anyway.
