Little Rabbit Learns to Share Strawberries
Hopsy had never seen so many strawberries in all his life. His eyes grew round and shiny. No one else was around. So Hopsy decided, right then, that all of them were his. Mine, mine, mine, thought Hopsy, and he hugged the basket tight. Noah, look! Hopsy is here! Hi, Hopsy! Wow, what a great smell! Are those strawberries, Hopsy? They look so yummy. You must be so happy to have found them! We're just glad to see you, Hopsy. Whatever you do, we'll be happy for you. Hopsy felt a funny warm feeling. Hiding the strawberries suddenly felt much worse than sharing them. For me? Oh, thank you, Hopsy! Mmm! This is the sweetest strawberry I've ever tasted! It's even better because we're eating together! Hopsy smiled. The strawberries tasted sweeter than ever, because he wasn't eating them alone.
