The Long Nap: Waking Up to Spring
Okay, just one more layer. The wind is howling outside. Goodnight, world. I will see you when the flowers bloom. Sleep now. Just sleep. Wait... why is it so bright? Did I oversleep? Are those ivy leaves on the ceiling? This cannot be real. Oh! Hello there, little friend. You are very bold. The snow is gone. The garden is alive again. I missed this. I missed all of this so much. The whole world bloomed while I slept. Thank you, spring. I am home again.
